Start your journey as an artist today. \nIntroduction to Landscape Drawing and Painting: From Line to Colour\nA beginner’s guide to capturing landscapes through both drawing and watercolour painting.\nStudents will learn how to observe natural forms\, build composition\, and use pencil and\nwatercolour techniques to create expressive landscape artworks. \nLearning Outcomes:\nBy the end of the course\, students will be able to:\nâ€¢ Understand key techniques for drawing landscapes in pencil.\nâ€¢ Use watercolour to suggest atmosphere\, light\, and texture.\nâ€¢ Apply principles of perspective\, composition\, and tone.\nâ€¢ Combine drawing and painting effectively.\nâ€¢ Create both observational and expressive landscape studies. \nAbout Kitty McLeod\nThe tutor\, Kitty McLeod\, of Promising Artists\, trained at Ravensbourne University London and the University of Gloucestershire. She has been teaching art and creative workshops with children and adults of all ages nationally since 2010. Alternatively\, allow the materials and the moment to lead your sewing. \nWe will be using simple running stitch and the activity is suitable for new or experienced sewers. All materials are provided and supportive guidance will be available. \nAudio Postcards & Zine Pages from 6-8.30pm in the CafÃ© \nDrop-In workshop with Meg Dunford co-founder of The Just in Case Zine Library. \nJoin artist Meg Dunford for a hands-on workshop where you’ll design your own zine page exploring creative barriers and ambitions.
