Takeaway Loans Service
| The museum takeaway service is a resource loans service for schools, colleges, higher education, community groups, care homes and many other organisations across the county. We offer a wide selection of boxes to hire, including natural history, social history, ancient history and world cultures. These boxes contain our extensive handling collection, which can be used to bring history to life in a meaningful and tactile way, and which cover topics range from pre-history right up the 20th Century. Many of the boxes are curriculum-related and cover a wide range of topics including the Stone Age, the Romans, the Great Fire of London, and traditional toys amongst others. We also have a selection of taxidermy items available for loan that are popular for both scientific and art studies.
The annual subscription fee is just £65+VAT per academic year for unlimited loans (maximum of four boxes at once with taxidermy items being a maximum of eight at once.)
