When you fill out the application form please complete it in as much detail as possible. The more detail you are able to provide the better placed we will be to respond to your enquiry. If you are unsure whether we hold any material relevant to your enquiry please email us at collections@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk or call on 01242 387488 and we can discuss it further with you.
Access to our stored collections is free for most enquiries, however on some occasions additional expenses may be incurred. This would happen if the objects you wish to see need to be transported from our offsite facilities, are heavy and require labour to move them, or require more staff time than usual. In these situations charges would be discussed with you before any firm commitments are made.
Due to the large number of emails we receive it may take up to six weeks to respond to your enquiry therefore we recommend that researchers contact us well in advance of their deadlines.
